Vivienne has been working with the PAVE Festival, co-ordinating the dance program since 2012. Vivienne is passionate about dance in all its forms and teaches, performs, choreographs and writes about dance as often as possible.
Vivienne’s dance career began in Perth from 1995 – 1996, continued in Canberra from 1997-2011 and she is now based in Emerald and LOVES it here.
She is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (1994), has a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology/Italian Language) and a Masters in Visual Culture Research from the Australian National University. She performs, teaches and choreographs for a variety of companies, artists and groups locally, nationally and internationally and creates her own independent work for her dance business called Space in Motion.
Her main areas of interest in dance are cross-cultural collaborations, site-specific performance and dance film. You Can see her perform in Circling the Brink and she will be teaching for the Day of Dance workshops for young people.
